Immunology is a branch of medicine which deals with disorders of the immune system. It includes medical diagnosis and treatment of allergy, autoimmune diseases, AIDS, inflammatory diseases etc.  In general allergy is the condition of adverse reaction of immune system towards any foreign substance. Allergy is one of the most adverse immune reactions faced by people worldwide.

Children are more prone to these allergic reactions. Pediatric immunology and allergy specifically deal with children having such problems. The nurses who deal with such cases should have a detailed knowledge of pediatric allergy conditions and ensure a seamless service for all children and young people with different allergies
